Seeking an Occupational Therapist to cover therapy services in Assisted Living communities in Vero Beach, FL. The role focuses on providing geriatric care and promoting successful aging‑in‑place for our clients.
Responsibilities
Evaluates and treats patients in an Assisted Living Community
Communicates with families, physicians, and other health care professionals
Maintains thorough daily documentation of services in the EMR
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program with a Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
New graduate applicants welcome; experienced therapists required as well
Actively licensed as an FL Occupational Therapist
Job Type
PRN (per diem). PRN therapists have flexible scheduling; they can accept or decline assignments based on availability and work across multiple settings. PRN work offers higher rates of pay relative to worker's compensation, but does not include benefits such as paid time off or health insurance.
Compensation
$110 per evaluation.
