Overview
Interventional Radiologist – Austin, TX. Baylor Scott & White Health in the Greater Austin Region is seeking a BE/BC interventional radiologist to develop and expand interventional radiology services. The candidate will join a growing division of diagnostic and interventional radiologists, currently supporting four hospitals and multiple outpatient imaging facilities in the Austin metro area. Current IR work includes the full spectrum of interventional radiology: interventional oncology, endovascular (venous and arterial) procedures, UFE, PAE. The preferred candidate will help grow additional service lines. On-site coverage is provided to multiple hospitals throughout the region. Outpatient IR clinic services are provided at all covered facilities. Service is supported by two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Some interpretation of vascular diagnostic imaging will be required.
Responsibilities
Develop and expand interventional radiology services within the greater Austin region
Provide on-site coverage for multiple hospitals
Support outpatient IR clinic services at covered facilities
Collaborate with a team of diagnostic and interventional radiologists
Interpret vascular diagnostic imaging as required
Participate in cross-service collaboration and contribute to new service line growth
Qualifications
Doctorate Degree in Medicine
Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
Board certified in interventional radiology or actively pursuing board certification as defined by the relevant American Board of Medical Specialties or Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
