Responsibilities
PRN (per diem) Intake Clinician. Provide behavioral health assessments and crisis intervention services to adolescent and adult patients both in-person and via telephone.

Facilities: 164‑bed inpatient services for adolescents through senior adulthood, including comprehensive assessments, psychiatric evaluation and medication stabilization, daily group therapy, and personalized aftercare planning. Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program ensure continuum of care.

Qualifications
Required Education
Master's degree in counseling or related field.

Required Experience
One year inpatient psychiatric assessments/treatment experience with adults and/or adolescents preferred.

Required Licensure/Certification
Licensed professional (LCSW or LCSWA, LCMHC or LCMHCA, LMFT or LMFTA).

Required Skills
Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families. Knowledge of human behavior or principles of psychology including therapeutic relationships & processes, age‑specific growth & development, limit setting, crisis & behavior management.

Physical Requirements
Requires sufficient body mobility, capable of sitting and standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, speaking on the telephone, writing legibly. Normal vision and hearing. Communicates fluently and effectively verbally and in writing in English. Ability to appropriately interact with all program staff, patients, visitors, attending physicians, and other department representatives.
