Job Description Summary
Marion General Hospital is hiring a casual (PRN/as needed) Sr Radiology Technologist to cover schedule openings due to vacations and leave of absence. Candidates must be open to working days, nights and weekends in a dual modality role—CT and X‑ray. Casual associates must work a minimum of 96 hours within a six‑month period to maintain employment.

This position prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following standards and protocols set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The technologist will be multi‑modality trained and/or certified in two or more of the following modalities: diagnostics, CT, MR, US, Dexa, or Mammo.

Responsibilities And Duties

Conduct routine radiographic studies in diagnostics.

Conduct routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment and maintain proficiency.

Provide radiation safety for operator and patient.

Place patients in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine positioning.

Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties as part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO).

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program.

Registered with ARRT.

Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.

Multi‑modality training or certification in at least two of diagnostics, CT, MR, US, Dexa, or Mammo.
