Instructor of Nursing – Labette Community College, Parsons, KS
Labette Community College invites applications for one full-time Instructor of Nursing position to begin in August 2026. The position is based at the main campus located in Parsons, KS.
Responsibilities
Provide classroom instruction, clinical education, and clinical simulation in one or more areas of nursing practice.
Advise nursing students on class scheduling and academic challenges.
Participate in curriculum revision and assist in program assessment.
Serve on LCC committees, maintain office hours, and perform other activities as specified in the LCC Master Agreement and LCC Policy and Procedures Manual.
Maintain a license as an RN in Kansas and any other state where instruction occurs.
Work effectively with nursing faculty, clinical site staff, students, and other college staff.
Maintain current knowledge of one or more nursing specialties.
Qualifications
Required:
Master’s Degree in Nursing Education or a Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a plan of study for completion of a graduate degree in nursing education.
Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas and any other state where instruction may occur.
Ability to work effectively with nursing faculty, clinical site staff, students, and other college staff.
Current knowledge of one or more nursing specialties.
Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Nursing Education and at least three (3) years of community college teaching experience.
