Position Description
The Department of Pharmacology at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine is conducting an open search for Project Scientists at the Assistant, Associate, or Full level to perform vital research in areas relevant to signal transduction, drug discovery, molecular specificity of therapeutic or environmental agents, drug disposition and action, structural and computational biology, cancer biology, and inflammation.
Project Scientists will make significant and creative contributions to a research project. They will perform studies and experiments, provide on-site teaching to students in the lab, prepare presentations, and report and summarize data.
Basic Qualifications
PhD, a doctoral degree, or equivalent in Pharmacological Sciences or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 4 years of postdoctoral experience.
At least 5 publications demonstrating experience in disseminating findings.
