Job Description
Lee Health Complex Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with strong IV and infusion skills to join our team. This role is primarily focused on infusion therapy, supporting a high-volume ambulatory setting with 20 infusion chairs and an on-site provider practice. This is a dynamic environment ideal for nurses who thrive in outpatient infusion, emergency, or urgent care settings.

About This Position
At Lee Health, our Complex Care Centers are dedicated to providing specialized, coordinated transitional care for adults managing multiple or chronic medical conditions. Our Complex Care Center at Lee Memorial Hospital brings together a multidisciplinary team to deliver advanced treatments, including infusion therapy, wound care, and provider-based services – all focused on improving outcomes and enhancing patient experience. This unique care model helps reduce hospitalizations, streamline treatment plans, and ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)

Administer and monitor infusion therapies and IV medications

Provide patient education and support throughout treatment

Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care

Document care accurately in alignment with regulatory and organizational standards

Promote positive patient outcomes through evidence-based nursing practice

Requirements

Education Requirements : Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; Associates or Bachelors preferred.

Experience Requirements : Experience required. Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment. Experience requirements may vary by department. Please reference the Nursing Addendums for department specific requirements.

Certification Requirements : Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. Certification requirements may vary by department. Please reference the Nursing Addendums for department specific requirements.

License Requirements : Currently licensed in the State of Florida.

Other Requirements : Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
