Qualifications:Active RN License in the state of NM or a compact nursing licenseBLS certification requiredBachelor of Science in Nursing preferredMinimum of 1 year of experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred Key Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation Provide both routine and complex care, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring effectiveness and potential side effects Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided Educate patients, families, and caregivers, assessing learning needs and connecting them to resources Assign and delegate responsibilities to other care team members in support of patient care Demonstrate leadership competencies aligned with advancing clinical excellence
