Schedule/Hours13-week contract with 36 hours/week guaranteed (option for 48 hours upon request).12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM).Three weekends per every six-week schedule; every other holiday. QualificationsActive compact RN license (attach with submission).Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications required.Minimum of 2 years strong Med/Surg experience, plus one previous travel assignment.Trauma level II experience.Recent proficiency with EPIC charting.Demonstrated skills in remote telemetry, chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood product administration, tracheostomy care, and PCA management.Proven strong assessment and critical thinking skills.Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable managing change. ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality patient care to Med/Surg population (post-surgical, sepsis, COPD, CHF, high fall risk).Participate in patient assessment, medication administration, and intervention as needed.Float within skill set to nearby campuses as required (advance notice provided).Precept and mentor students or new hires as part of the teaching facility culture.
