About The Role
Are you an experienced Industrial Refrigeration (IR) Technician looking for variety, travel opportunities, and career growth? We’re hiring a Service Technician to support our industrial refrigeration customers throughout the Harrisonburg, VA area. Candidates from outside the area are encouraged to apply—relocation support is available.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair ammonia and industrial refrigeration systems
Perform mechanical rebuilds on commercial/industrial compressors
Maintain evaporative condensers, control systems, and electrical components
Execute preventative maintenance and inspection tasks per service agreements
Coordinate with dispatch/service coordinator for job scheduling and task execution
Maintain compliance with OSHA, IIAR, and RETA safety standards
Travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites
Respond to emergency service calls, including weekends and evenings as needed
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in industrial refrigeration service
Strong understanding of ammonia, cascade, and rack systems
Hands‑on experience with control systems and conventional electrical controls
EPA CFC certification required
RETA Course I and II certifications preferred
Knowledge of OSHA, IIAR, and industry safety standardsAbility to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and OT as needed
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
