Shift:

Monday to Friday, 9:30AM to 6:00PM

Who You Are
As a Lead IPM (Integrated Pest Management) Technician, you will be responsible for leading a team of 2-4 IPM Technicians, providing direction and guidance in daily operations. You will oversee the team in the application of preventative agents to preserve the quality of our product. You’re a motivated, team‑oriented leader, who is able to assist in creating a dynamic environment for the team, and you are passionate about the ins and outs of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) while ensuring the health and quality of our product.

What You’ll Do

Lead and supervise a team of IPM Technicians, providing direction and guidance in daily operations.

Ensure the proper use and maintenance of all applicable personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection, in accordance with safety protocols.

Conduct daily pest and disease monitoring and scouting to ensure optimal plant health.

Maintain up-to-date pesticide and preventative agent logs.

Mix and apply pesticides, preventative agents, and caustic cleaning agents according to protocols.

Operate and maintain Dramm Hydraulic Sprayers for IPM product applications.

Apply IPM products and beneficial bugs to plants.

Coordinate the scheduling of pesticide and treatment applications with the Cultivation Supervisor to ensure effective pest control.

Ensure the team is following standard operating procedures for all tasks and projects.

Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Uphold quality standards, conducting and documenting follow‑up inspections to maintain excellence.

Additional duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum of 1 year of team leadership experience

Minimum of 6 months of experience as an IPM Technician

A positive, friendly attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently

Adaptability and a keen eye for detail, especially in documentation and organization

Reliable transportation and the ability to handle potential allergens, irritants, and elevated environmental conditions such as high temperatures, humidity, and CO2 levels

A High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to meet all physical requirements

Even Better If

You have experience working with pesticides, cleaning agents, or hydraulic sprayers in the cannabis industry

Physical Requirements

Extended time standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching

Close visual focus required

This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects

Required to stand for extended periods, lifting of objects regularly, and daily repetitive tasks

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds across 100 feet

Ability to work in an environment that is exposed to plant materials and strong odors

Must successfully pass a respirator fit test and maintain a proper fit and seal as per safety standards

Capable of working in environments with room temperatures averaging between 70-80°F and elevated humidity levels

Able to work in areas with higher-than-average carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations

Ability to work effectively under intense, bright lighting conditions
