Located in scenic Exeter, New Hampshire—just minutes from the Seacoast, with easy access to Boston and Portland

Transportation of patients via escort, wheelchair, stretcher, or bed. Conducts equipment rounding, cleaning and distribution as requested. Reports to the Manager of Patient Support Services.

Responsibilities

Transports patients and equipment to and from hospital departments within the hospital (only) as requested/assigned.

Assists clinical personnel in transferring patients to and from beds, chairs, wheelchairs, and stretchers.

Picks up and delivers supplies and requisitions as requested.

Performs associated transport equipment rounding, including cleaning, disinfection, and relocation of equipment to appropriate storage areas, based on established par levels, and in ready condition for patient use.

Transports broken and tagged equipment to appropriate location for repair, and/or for notification to equipment vendor, assuring appropriate repair action is taken.

Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

High school graduate or GED

BCLS certification within 6 months of hire
