Pharmacy Technician/ADS
Are you an experienced Pharmacy Technician looking to start working immediately close to your home with a stable schedule? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this position is for you.
Responsibilities
Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor.
Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff, primarily through email.
Utilize various applications (myQlink, OmniCenter) to obtain reports.
Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date).
Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing.
Replace potentially expiring inventory.
Restock depleted inventory.
Pull and pack medications for daily routes.
Code controlled substances, when applicable.
Monthly audits (cycle count).
Prepare standard documentation and reports to include discrepancies, expense reports, and others as directed.
Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
NJ Pharmacy Technician Registration Required, in process or willing to obtain after hire.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred).
Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.
Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
Must have a valid driver's license and your own vehicle.
Availability and flexibility to work after hours when needed during peak times.
Ability to physically perform light lifting.
Willing to drive long distances in the tri-state Regions (NJ, NY, PA, CT).
