The pay for this position starts at $22/hour, with additional compensation added for higher education and/or years of relevant experience up to $25.08/hour. This position is located in Rutland, MA. Schedule: Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm.
$1,000 Sign-on Bonus .
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health – Massachusetts serves students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder. This position will work with the West Side and South Wings programs, both on the main campus in Rutland, MA. The West Side residential program provides services for youth, ages 13‑21, with varying diagnostic presentations such as mood and anxiety disorders, post‑traumatic stress disorder, disruptive behavior disorder, reactive attachment disorder and facets of borderline personality disorder. The South Wing programs serve IDD/ASD males, ages 15‑21. With a staff‑to‑student ratio of 1:3, this program offers a high level of individualized care. Staff design house‑specific routines, chores, and activities that support the individuals' growth and development.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Program Manager and the Clinician to provide case management services as a liaison between center, families, agencies, social workers, lawyers and other involved parties.
Complete QI responsibilities for programs and gather clinical information and complete documentation as assigned.
Serve as a member of individual treatment teams, program milieu team, and QI team.
Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors, and providing positive reinforcement for the same.
Teach and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) living skills.
Possess adequate organizational and communication skills needed to complete required documentation, such as progress notes and incident reports.
Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license required.
High School Diploma with three years of congregate care experience or Bachelor’s degree with one year of congregate care experience required. Degrees in psychology, social work, sociology, or related field preferred.
Must be able to attend a 2‑week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.
