Bluegrass Behavioral Services for Children supports children facing a range of behavioral and developmental challenges. We work with families to address issues like hyperactivity, sensory disorders, anxiety, defiance, aggression, and the effects of trauma such as abuse or loss. We also assist children who may show signs of Autism Spectrum Disorder or struggle to thrive in preschool or childcare settings. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Clinician based in Georgetown, KY. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and providing direct counseling or therapeutic services to children and their families. The Clinician will collaborate with other professionals, document progress, and participate in team meetings to ensure the highest level of care.
Qualifications
Background in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field
Experience in child development, behavioral therapy, and trauma-informed care
Strong interpersonal, communication, and empathy skills
Proficiency in maintaining detailed client notes and case documentation
Ability to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health professional in Kentucky
Familiarity with Autism Spectrum Disorder or experience with related therapies is a plus
Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field
