How you’ll make an impact in this role

Coordinate comprehensive patient care within surgical services, serving as the go-to technical and functional expert for the clinical staff.
Manage daily shift operations, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and the coordination of surgical activities.
Lead the orientation and training of new associates. You’ll oversee their progress and provide vital input for performance evaluations and professional growth.
Assign and monitor daily tasks, reviewing work progress to ensure the team stays on track and operates efficiently.
Keep the department high-performing by monitoring and reporting on compliance with healthcare policies, safety procedures, and clinical standards.
Oversee the utilization and maintenance of critical surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment to ensure the team always has what they need to succeed.
What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
