Responsibilities
Provides engineering support, mainly the execution of requests accurately and the communication of outcomes for customer process demonstrations or internal projects.
Determines appropriate sample preparation technique and prepares samples for projects, including wafer cleaving, coating, mounting/unmounting, and assembly of wafers.
Modifies process recipe formulations and executes processing requirements on client proprietary tools.
Determines the appropriate metrology method needed while taking into consideration the image quality requirements and feature of interest for the inspection of the cleaved as well as whole wafers, and executes requests under optimal imaging conditions on the metrology tools, such as thin film ellipsometers, Scanning Electron Microscopy tools, after training.
Implements process monitoring for different tool sets, compiles and evaluates test data to compare to appropriate process limits or materials specifications.
Interface with cross‑functional teams for troubleshooting, assist with tool performance checks, and general clean room lab operations.
Provide informal guidance and support to junior team members.
Benefits
Pay rate: $41.40/Hour
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Length: Temp (12 Months)
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in process or semiconductor engineering.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with metrology tools (Scanning Electron Microscopy, ellipsometry).
Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects, is comfortable working with different web applications to log data, and communicates effectively.

Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
