Electrical Apprentice

What You’ll Do

You’ll be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Assist in pulling wire for PV string, DC, and AC feeder systems
Complete plug-and-play module connections and manage module leads
Perform DC terminations and label wiring for string wire, combiners, and inverters
Support AC terminations at inverters, transformers, and switchgear
Assist in electrical testing: insulation resistance and voltage tests
Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installs
Use hand and power tools to install racking and modules per design
Participate in daily safety and work planning meetings
Complete tasks using KE’s internal software systems for reporting and documentation
Learn from leadership and ask questions to gain a full understanding of assignments
Communicate proactively with supervisors regarding issues or deviations from scope
Qualifications

What You\'ll Bring

You’re someone who wants to learn, grow, and contribute to building renewable infrastructure. Successful candidates typically bring:
Enrollment and good standing in the KE Apprenticeship Program
Willingness to travel (up to 100%)
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
Prior documented electrical hours (if applicable)

Pay Range: $20.00 – $40.00 per hour dependent on experience
