Requirements
Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or active in the process of obtaining one.
At least one year of professional working experience.
Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
Current CPR certification.
Certificates of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Additional requirements as determined by the client facility.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Speech Language Pathologist/SLP is responsible for assessing referred patients and providing speech and swallowing therapy as ordered by physicians. The role includes teaching patients to produce sounds, improve voice quality, develop oral and written language skills, and strengthen swallowing muscles or use compensatory strategies to prevent choking or food aspiration.
Provide skilled speech therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders.
Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet therapy goals.
Set realistic, achievable goals to help patients regain reliable communication and swallowing skills for educational, vocational, and social roles.
