Overview
RN – Ambulatory Surgery
Location: Faunce Corner Ambulatory Surgery Center, Dartmouth, MA
Hours: 32 hrs per week
Shift: Day shift; 6:15 am – 2:45 pm and 7:30 am – 4:00 pm; flexible days and hours
Responsibilities
Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee.
Participate in patient and family teaching.
Provide leadership by cooperating with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned unit.
Provide care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS required.
Three (3) months of experience is preferred.
Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU) Ambulatory Surgery/Perioperative or Critical Care experience preferred.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or have an approved exemption in accordance with policy (exemption may be requested by signing a statement).
Compensation: Pay rate determined based on experience.
