Job Summary And Responsibilities
As an EKG Tech, you will perform diagnostic electrocardiograms (EKGs) to assess cardiac function. Every day you will prepare patients, explain procedures, and accurately operate EKG machines to record heart activity, ensuring comfort and high-quality readings. To be successful, you will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, meticulous data collection, and excellent patient communication, contributing to accurate cardiac diagnostics.
Performs EKG exams in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Utilizes 12–Lead Electrocardiograms including set‑up, processing of paperwork, maintenance of equipment and use of the MUSE System.
Takes event monitor transmissions.
Performs event and Holter monitor applications.
Cleans patient monitors and cables when they are returned.
Shift: Varied Days
Student loan repayment program offered!

High School Diploma or GED
AHA BLS within 30 days
Preferred
Previous hospital and EKG experience
