About The Role
Join the team at the award‑winning Mead Vet Centre. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who values patient care and wants to progress into diverse roles such as Lead or Senior RVN, theatre or ward nursing, or management.
Responsibilities
Play an integral part of the day team, providing compassionate care and support to patients in need.
Assist in surgical procedures including orthopaedics, TPLOs, fracture repairs, laparoscopic spays and other complex medical cases.
Handle emergency situations with confidence.
Communicate effectively with clients, staff and other team members.
Maintain high standards of animal welfare and hygiene.
Requirements
Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with strong clinical skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Benefits
Amazing salary up to £37,000, DOE.
A 4‑day week with 1:5 weekends (TOIL for weekends worked).
Hours can be 7.30am to 5.30pm or 10.30am to 8.30pm.
