Clinical Nurse Manager - RN – Perioperative Services - Days
As a Perioperative Services Clinical Manager, you will drive efficiency and compassion as well as directly impact the quality of care primarily in PreOp and PACU. Be part of inspirational and collaborative work amongst your nursing colleagues and leaders. Support the delivery of exceptional care, coordinate patient care throughout, in addition to being an agent of health and hope. You’ll regularly participate in helping to gather staff perspectives to help positively impact the units by mentoring and motivating staff. Partner closely with nursing team leaders on quality measures, guide independent thinking, and patient-focused compassion.
This is a full time position working four days/week Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:30pm at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital.
Responsibilities
Lead perioperative services operations to optimize patient flow and care quality in PreOp and PACU.
Mentor and develop nursing staff; collaborate with nursing team leaders on quality measures.
Coordinate patient care across perioperative services; participate in staff perspectives to drive unit improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
2 years of clinical experience
Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
BCLS certification
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Experience in Perioperative Services and/or critical care
