Job Overview
At Echo Electric, a brand owned by Sonepar and a leader in electrical distribution across Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, Nebraska, and Southern South Dakota, we seek a motivated Warehouse Associate. The role involves ensuring products reach their destinations by receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, and assisting with general maintenance of the warehouse.
Responsibilities
Pick, check, pack, and ship orders ranging from small boxes to pallets.
Load, unload, and move materials and supplies using safety equipment, hand trucks, and front‑end loaders or forklifts.
Receive, check in, and store inventory safely while ensuring quality and quantity.
Cut wire, rod, or strut safely using the appropriate equipment.
Sweep floors, remove trash, and maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.
Record damaged or defective materials.
Qualifications
Willing to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, wire cutting machines, push carts, and rolling ladders.
Able to continuously lift materials up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
Able to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
Basic problem‑solving skills and computer skills.
