Overview

Floater Teacher Pay: $16.50-$17.50/hr
Assistant Teacher Pay: $16.50-$18/hr
Lead Teacher Pay: $20-$23/hr
Closer Teacher Pay: $17-$19/hr
Age Groups: All positions are year-round permanent roles. No seasonal summer-only positions are available.
Positions include Infant Lead Teacher, Preschool Assistant, Toddler Assistant, Full-time Floaters.
Responsibilities
Develop a careful and creative program suitable for specific age groups of children
Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe
Track children’s progress and communicate with parents regularly
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age and a High School Diploma or GED
1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility
CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (required for Lead Teacher positions)
OCFS certification preferred
