Job Title
Senior Regional Construction Scheduler

Overview Of Responsibilities

Report directly to the Senior Construction Manager of Scheduling and Estimating; provide schedule‑related reports for upper management to meet Key Performance Milestones.

Assist in the supervision of Project Schedulers to ensure project timelines are met and interface with Senior Project Managers and other site staff regarding CPM schedule reviews.

Independently interpret and read detailed construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil) and develop a clear understanding of work scope.

Review Contractor P6 initial baseline construction schedules, identify missing scope, logic, milestones, analyze critical path, review cost loading, and provide written technical schedule review comments based on client’s structured review templates.

Review multiple Contractor P6 monthly schedule updates and provide written schedule review comments documenting milestone slippage, critical path activity slippage, and overall schedule analysis.

Perform time impact analysis using the method of Windows Analysis with contemporaneous or forensic schedule parameters, producing a detailed write‑up.

Read drawings to determine scope inclusion/exclusion and assess contract terms for compensable or non‑compensable time extensions.

Effectively communicate with the project team regarding any schedule/progress issues at regular schedule meetings.

Develop, maintain, and update program schedules, identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects.

Perform status updates for program/master schedules on a regular basis.

Ensure proper use of program‑level standard codes, layouts, and reports to maintain data integrity.

Prepare reports as directed by Senior Management.

Visit construction sites, attend meetings, and verify Contractor’s monthly schedule progress.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Level:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

OR Bachelor’s degree in any course with an additional 4 years of experience to compensate for required education.

Minimum Years And Experience:

Minimum 10 years full‑time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably in educational facility or public works projects.

Proficiency in Primavera (Latest Version, P6 v19) and MS Office Suite.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Superior organizational and planning skills.

Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff.

Understanding of theories, principles, and practices of cost engineering, scheduling, and schedule forensics.

Compensation
This role is salaried/exempt with a base annual salary range of $150,000.00 - $166,000.00, commensurate with skill, education, experience, and work location. The position is bonus eligible after 6 months of employment.
