
MAINTENANCE HOURLY (MECHANICS, TECHNICIANS & PROJECTS)

Description
Required to pass a Maintenance Aptitude Test with a 70% or above to be considered.
Responsibilities
This position ensures all aspects of the maintenance mechanic functions are performed in a safe and acceptable manner.
Performs preventative maintenance procedures on all equipment assigned by the maintenance supervisors/lead hand.
Assist other areas of the plant when major problems occur.
Functional Requirements
Completes all assigned tasks scheduled and unscheduled work as directed by supervisor.
Assist in the day‑to‑day operations of the maintenance department, including but not limited to the assistance of all maintenance areas of the plant, ensuring assigned areas are monitored and documented as required by safety, food safety, company policy, and procedures.
Key Qualifications, Abilities, and Skills
Must be able to work weekends, or as needed.
Must have strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Must be willing to work in both hot and cold environments.
Must have some related maintenance experience.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs on occasion.
Depts Include
Fabrication, Slaughter, Material Handling, Rendering, E&E, B&E based on company needs.
Compensation and Benefits
Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 90 days of employment.
Paid time off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays.
Retirement pension plan.
Base pay range of $27.90 - $34.90.
