Job Description
Warehouse associates are responsible for safely and accurately selecting customer orders and building and wrapping pallets. They perform pre-shift equipment checks, use electric pallet jacks, move products from racks to pallets using order-selecting software, validate accuracy, and deliver products to the correct dock areas.
Responsibilities
Safely and accurately select customer orders, build and wrap pallets to meet weekly productivity and accuracy standards.
Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
Move products from racks to pallets directed by order-selecting software and equipment.
Validate that the correct product has been selected and is damage free.
Deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
Clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets from slots, and return pallet jacks to the charging area.
Physical Requirements
Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 to over 100.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20-80+ lbs. of product repeatedly; moving 1,000+ cases of product each shift.
Qualifications
Must be able to read and communicate in English for training, safety coaching, reading labels, and reporting.
Able to work 8+ hour night shifts (typically Sunday-Thursday) and, at times, weekends and holidays.
Recent experience (within the past 6 months) in high-endurance or highly physical roles such as lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, or construction is preferred.
Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
Experience operating a motorized pallet jack or similar equipment is preferred.
