Job Responsibilities
Complete Solids Control rig-ups, rig-downs, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
Perform Solids Control Analysis of the equipment
Perform electrical rig-ups, rig-downs, and minor repairs
Possess satisfactory knowledge of Solids Control and Vacuum Unit jobs
Follow the proper sampling procedure
Complete daily reports and communicate with customers, supervisors, and co-workers
Possess satisfactory rig etiquette and maintain a professional attitude
Train other employees and travel outside the hiring region when needed
Maintain a satisfactory driving record per NOV's Driver Policy
Demonstrate a willingness to complete general labor tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor
Attain the necessary NOV WSS Core Training and maintain annual refresher training
Minimum Requirements
A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
Experience in the solids control field or similar mechanical experience to identify potential mechanical problems
Possess a satisfactory driving record
Must be able to pass background check, pre-placement physical, pulmonary function/FIT test, and substance abuse testing
Must be able to operate or be trained to operate heavy equipment such as a track hoe/back hoe in a safe manner
Must be able to operate or be trained to operate existing solids control line of equipment and/or any new solids control technology introduced to the market
Pay Range $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
