Production Worker - 2nd Shift

Position Summary
A general worker in manufacturing operations who performs work on one (1) or more precision production machines or who performs assembling, checking or gauging, crafting, storing, material handling, shipping (does not include shipping or receiving clerk or storekeeper) of products or does other necessary work incidental to the above. Required to maintain tolerances where gauges or test equipment are provided, and in the case of trouble, stops the operation. Required to have basic knowledge of blueprints and may use simple hand or powered tools in the performance of above. Responsible for quality parts, within the scope of responsibilities and required to visually inspect parts and identify obvious flaws or manufacturing problems; i.e., misalignment of holes, incomplete assemblies, missing operations not conforming to samples, missing threads, holes, nicked or scratched sealing areas, broken tools, etc.

Qualifications
Education: Must be high school graduate or have GED and 6 months experience in related assembly industry.

Mathematical Skills: Know basic math skills including trigonometry.

Union Representation
Positions are represented by International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, AFL-CIO, Local 1584 (Bay Area District 190). Initiation fee/monthly dues are required.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule
Competitive Compensation: Pay Range determined by Union Contract: $19.22/hr to $29.09/hr
