
Maintenance Supervisor Trainer-Livingston

Pay Rate: $81,450 to $101,825 yearly
Purpose of Position
The purpose of the Site Maintenance Trainer position is to develop, standardize, and deliver technical maintenance training to improve equipment reliability, safety, compliance, and workforce capability at the Foster Farms Livingston facility. This role ensures maintenance technicians are trained on plant assets, preventive and predictive maintenance practices, SAP PM processes, food safety requirements, and safe work standards, directly supporting uptime, cost control, and regulatory compliance.
Essential Job Function
Develop and deliver maintenance technical training (mechanical, electrical, automation basics)
Train and coach technicians on SAP PM processes, job plans, and documentation standards
Standardize maintenance procedures, PMs, and troubleshooting methods
Support onboarding and progression of new maintenance technicians
Reinforce safety, food safety, and housekeeping standards
Support reliability initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Maintain training records, competency matrices, and certifications
Decision-Making Responsibilities
Providing direct support as needed by being on the production floor.
Other duties as assigned
Additional Functions
Coordinate with supervisors to align training with production schedules
Assist with audits and corrective action training
Support cross-training and succession planning initiatives
Requirements
Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background
Demonstrated training, coaching, or mentoring experience
Working knowledge of SAP PM (ECC)
Understanding of food manufacturing safety and compliance
Strong communication and documentation skills
Flexible Schedule to work off shift and Weekends as needed
