Senior Process Engineer
Location: Medford, OR
Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our team. The Process Engineer is responsible for engineering process design and specifications for operations and capital project support, supporting growth initiatives, safety improvements, and efficiency improvements. The engineer works as part of an interdisciplinary team and independently to make technical decisions based on viability, cost, and other benefits. Responsibilities include creating system designs including PFDs, P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, and equipment specifications.
Projects are typically for expansion or improvement of systems used in the manufacture and distribution of ultra‑high purity electronic and specialty gases. The Process Engineer will lead front‑end system design, often starting from scratch, and serve as the technical lead through all phases of the projects, culminating in system startup and turnover to plant operations.
Communicates and collaborates with project management, customers, operations, procurement, safety, and business groups. Develops and implements innovative solutions for process, plant, and project‑based problems. All activities require excellent organization and communication.

What you will be doing
Design and commission systems for gas purification, handling, and disposal.
Participate on project and technical teams, providing technical guidance to plant operations, project teams, and other process engineers.
Develop controls philosophies and narratives and work with software integrators during software development.
Act as the technical representative in HAZOPs and design reviews.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and Linde standards and policies.
Understand the critical link between business success and customer quality expectations.
Drive project execution through exemplary leadership, motivation, and communication across multiple departments and personnel.
This role requires access to information and products subject to U.S. export control laws (ITAR/EAR). Consistent with those laws, candidates must meet the definition of a “U.S. person”—i.e., a U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), or an individual granted protected status (such as refugee or asylee) under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
What makes you great
Requires Bachelor's Degree in Engineering – Chemical preferred
7-10 Years of experience in related industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrate commitment to operational discipline and compliance to standard work procedures.
Actively and visibly supports a culture of health and safety in the workplace.
Experience in creating drawings using a CAD software. Preferably AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
Experience in HMI Automation/Control Software.
Experience with high purity chemicals/gases preferred.
