Job Summary
Bob Miller’s Appliance and Mattress Showroom is a long‑standing independent retailer in South Bend, Indiana specializing in Major Appliance and Mattress sales and service. We are currently seeking an Appliance Installer.
You will receive highly competitive pay, a profit sharing 401K, as well as comprehensive benefits including dental, medical, and vision insurance. We also provide paid personal and vacation time. You will be off on all Sundays and we have several paid holidays throughout the year.

This position is right for you if you are self‑motivated, have a knack for troubleshooting, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. Ideally, you have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers.
Qualifications
A passion for customer service
A great attitude and a willingness to learn
Ability to work in a team environment
Light plumbing, electrical, and cabinetry work (will train)
Chauffer's license preferred and required for advancement
Available to work Saturdays when required
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of installations
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis and perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
Job duties may require standing, walking, sitting, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and speaking or hearing
