Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3) or Sr. Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (Level 4) in our Melbourne, FL facility to support the Material Cost Management organization. This position will work on‑site daily.

Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. This is an individual contributor role that can be filled at either level.
Responsibilities
This position will provide assistance and guidance to support the implementation of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Control Account Managers (CAMs), while ensuring compliance to DOD EVMS guidelines and the Autonomous Systems Division EVM System. The role requires a fast paced, high energy environment and self‑motivation. The candidate will possess deep experience in EVMS and financial reporting, communicate problems and recommend business/process solutions, plan and schedule activities to achieve objectives, influence peers and customers, and collaborate effectively. Leadership and team skills are expected, with small team leading and clear communication.
Essential Functions
Develop and review material EACs.
Ensure alignment with purchase orders for Major Subcontracts and IWOs.
Assist CAMs for EVMS activities including: WBS alignment, time phasing of purchases, developing and documenting earned value methodologies, monthly performance measurement, estimate‑to‑complete analysis and updates, and variance analysis research and reporting.
Support monthly cost and schedule reviews, identify pressures and opportunities, and develop recovery plans as required.
Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and perform financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
Conduct analysis on material data and set up meetings with control account managers to review data.
Provide support to Integrated Product Teams and Cost Management Managers.
Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and suppliers.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Goods Movement, Supply Chain or related field OR Master's degree with 3 years experience in the same domains.
Active DoD Secret clearance or higher, with a background investigation completed within the last six years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation.
Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience using business systems such as SAP and/or Cobra.
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
Basic Qualifications for Level 4
Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Goods Movement, Supply Chain or related field OR Master's degree with 6 years experience in the same domains.
Active DoD Secret clearance or higher, with a background investigation completed within the last six years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation.
Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience using business systems such as SAP and/or Cobra.
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
Preferred Qualifications
Financial forecasting and/or material accounting experience.
Experience with Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution (GPD).
Salary and Benefits
Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 – $122,000.00. Secondary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 – $152,200.00. These ranges are general guidelines. Northrop Grumman considers various factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions when determining base salary offers. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and in some roles long‑term incentives.
