
Financial Analyst (US, only: CA, NY, DC)

Responsibilities
Manage marketing project administration cycle, including partnership with VP of Label Operations to set up, streamline, and manage budgets for artists and projects.
Liaise with Finance team under VP Finance for monthly budget reservations, fund transfers, vendor installation, creating requisitions, facilitating PO approval, rushes, invoice troubleshooting, and vendor relations.
Manage marketing projects by artist, vendor, and expense type.
Control assigned budget to each project and allocate resources within SAP (via POs).
Review and re‑assign resources within the month or quarter, with the label Managing Director and SVP Marketing, monitoring expenses within the monthly/quarterly budget.
Develop, prepare, and manage marketing budgets for senior management with analysis of marketing investments by type of expense, vendor, project, and/or artist.
Manage project deadlines with Marketing, Finance, Legal, vendors, and suppliers by communicating expected deliverables, compliance protocols, and resources.
Manage vendor payment process in partnership with Finance/Accounting, including compliance approvals with Finance and Legal departments.
Streamline and coordinate vendor setup within SAP/Uniport, obtaining proper documentation and managing the vendor‑Uniport setup process.
Maintain vendor invoices and backup documentation for payment setup and programming within SAP/Uniport.
Record and distribute marketing meeting minutes, organize meetings, and music listening sessions.
Create and manage all project‑related documents such as one‑sheets, timelines, quote sheets, and other deliverables.
Facilitate travel for artists as requested.
Improve internal processes to better support marketing and accounting responsibilities for the Project Manager.
Provide consistent project updates to stakeholders on strategy, adjustments, and progress.
Monitor progress and adjust as needed.
Qualifications & Desired Traits
Strong project management skills.
Ability to work under high pressure and speed.
3‑5 years of work experience in a professional environment.
