Overview
We are seeking a Senior Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialist to support our Cardiovascular team. The role involves providing clinical and technical product support to healthcare providers, focusing on electrophysiology (EP) physicians, interventional cardiologists (IC), and laboratory staff for electrophysiology diagnostic and therapeutic catheter systems, including AcuNav™ and SOUNDSTAR™ catheters.

Responsibilities

Provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to EP/IC physicians and staff on the effective use of AcuNav™ and SOUNDSTAR™ catheters in EP and IC procedures.

Provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians and EP Lab Staff on electrophysiology systems (e.g., CARTO® System, CARTOSOUND™, CARTOMERGE™ and Stockert RF generator) during case procedures within an assigned geography and to meet and exceed business goals.

Educate customers on all electrophysiology products to optimize usage through technical and clinical information and in‑service training, sharing best practices.

Use consultative selling techniques to identify potential sales opportunities within the account.

Create awareness of electrophysiology solutions and facilitate Territory Sales Manager contact with key decision‑makers to drive incremental business.

Maximize customer case support capability through proper planning and scheduling techniques.

Drive collaboration and maintain consistent, open lines of communication with internal and external partners.

Develop and share best practices with field sales and service colleagues and other internal partners; grow mutually beneficial customer relationships within and beyond the EP/IC lab, including physicians, nurses, technicians, clinical and hospital administrators.

Stay current on company product instructions for use, best practices, technical troubleshooting, and relevant scientific literature and new product information.

Prioritize responses to requests in a high‑stress environment and maintain composure during stressful interactions.

Engage in diagnostic dialogue with internal and external stakeholders and formulate solutions based on dialogue.

Provide mentoring for new electrophysiology commercial team members as requested.

Perform other duties assigned as needed.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant professional work/military experience.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical echocardiography laboratory.

Certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in adult or pediatric echocardiography.

Advanced clinical ultrasound and echocardiography knowledge of technology, advancements, and the business landscape.

Clinical knowledge of healthcare industry, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends.

Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Willingness to travel up to 40% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, on short notice.

Ability to sit for extended periods in hospital laboratory settings, attend live patient cases, and wear protective gear; willingness to work variable hours to meet patient needs.

Capacity for lifting up to 60 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Electrophysiology/Cath Lab or EP/Cardiovascular Device Industry.

Certifications such as CEPS (IBHRE), RCES, or RCIS.

Experience with highly complex technical systems in a critical patient care setting.

Effective, timely communicator with co‑workers and all levels of patient care team.

Self‑starter who performs well with autonomy and adapts in a dynamic work environment.

Problem solver who can think critically in high‑pressure environments.

Receptive to constructive feedback and collaborates well in a team environment.

Able to interpret large amounts of data and translate it into actionable insights.

Hunger for learning and building new skills.
