Principal Accountant (Internal Control Accountant)
Job Description
Lead special projects, perform technical accounting analysis, strengthen internal controls, assist with the annual audit and Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) preparation, and undertake other accounting responsibilities within the City of Roseville's Accounting team.
Minimum Qualifications
Five years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience, including preparation and analysis of financial statements and complex accounting transactions.
Experience coordinating audits, evaluating internal controls, or providing lead direction on accounting projects is desirable.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related field.
A CPA or MBA is desirable.
Possession of a valid California driver's license by date of appointment.
