
Workday Finance Consultant

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Workday Finance Consultant with a strong background in sales and presales. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Workday Finance modules, combined with proven experience in solution selling, client engagement, and presales activities. This role involves collaborating with clients to analyze business needs, designing effective Workday solutions, and supporting the sales process to drive new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with prospective clients during the sales cycle to understand business challenges and present tailored Workday Finance solutions.
Support sales teams in developing proposals, demonstrations, and presentations for Workday Finance solutions.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday Financials, including modules such as Accounting, Procurement, Expenses, Projects, and Reporting.
Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and product demonstrations for clients and prospects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement.
Stay current on Workday product updates, industry trends, and best practices.
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and support the development of sales collateral and solution assets.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
3+ years of hands‑on experience with Workday Finance implementations.
Demonstrated success in sales and/or presales roles within enterprise software solutions.
Strong understanding of financial business processes and how Workday supports these functions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Workday certification in Financials is highly desirable.
Ability to travel as needed for client engagements and sales activities.
