Senior Civil Engineer - Plans, Code & Public Works

The City of Bakersfield is seeking a Civil Engineer in California who will be responsible for technical work examining building plans for compliance with building codes and zoning regulations. Ideal candidates will have a degree in civil engineering, at least three years of relevant experience, and a valid Civil Engineer registration. Responsibilities include developing plans for construction projects and responding to public inquiries. A strong preference is given to candidates with experience in land development.
