Position
Heavy Civil Foreman
Responsibilities
Assist with any and all aspects of efficient personnel scheduling
Manage crew operations
Oversee grading equipment needs and repair
Reinforce continuous quality improvement initiatives

Projects vary by location throughout the local area or the state; reliable transportation and/or a willingness to travel to any job site as needed is required
Qualifications
Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
GPS Machine Control knowledge is preferred
CDL is desired but not necessary
Capable of reading and interpreting plans and specifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
Must be punctual, dependable, and have a high ethical standard for personal and business conduct
Self-directed and motivated; able to manage multiple conflicting and changing priorities
Ability to be trusted with confidential information and observe anti-trust laws and regulations
Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed
Capacity to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments
Member of the appropriate trade union or willingness to become a union member; union membership is not required prior to employment
Minimum of 5 years' experience at the field level in Heavy Civil Construction
Prior experience as a Foreman
Working knowledge of CMV guidelines and regulations
