PCB Design Engineer
We are seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer to join our engineering organization supporting high-reliability Aerospace and Defense programs. This role requires deep expertise in multi-layer board layout, advanced PCB design tools, and industry-standard design practices for mission-critical hardware. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. This is a full-time, on-site position in the DFW area, and candidates must already reside in DFW.
Responsibilities
Utilize industry-leading PCB design tools, including Cadence OrCAD, Allegro
Execute PCB layout and design activities for complex electronic assemblies used in aerospace and defense products
Collaborate closely with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity and manufacturability
Support design reviews, DFM/DFT analysis, and troubleshooting of prototype builds
Ensure designs meet applicable aerospace/defense standards, customer specifications, and internal guidelines
Work onsite daily to support rapid engineering collaboration and project execution
Essential Skills
5–10 years of professional PCB design experience with proven multi-layer board layout expertise on 20+ boards
Hands‑on proficiency with Cadence OrCAD, Allegro
Experience working within Aerospace & Defense environments, including familiarity with relevant standards
Must be a citizen due to project and customer requirements
Must reside in the DFW Metro Area and be willing to work onsite 5 days per week
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced engineering team
Bonus Points if you have experience with
Familiarity with the person-PRF- (Aerospace/Defense standard for PCB Design)
IEC (med device safety standard)
IPC 6011/6012 (generic standards for PCB manufacturability)
Simulation
EMI/EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility)
Signal Integrity
Power Integrity
Hyperlynx (simulation tool)
Valor (DFM/DFA tool)
DDR4/DDR5 (implies exposure to high-speed designs)
Work Environment
Working 5-days per week in our Fort Worth Engineering Center.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $135000.00/hr.
