Responsibilities
Understand and adhere to all company safety procedures and participate in regular periodic Environmental, Health and Safety training.
Maintain the company’s buildings, facilities, and equipment in an operating and functional condition.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair heating and ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, compressors, and other mechanical equipment as necessary.
Utilize strong mechanical and electrical skills to complete assignments.
Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC control and operating systems as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Safely perform functions of the position, including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout procedures, and wearing PPE as required.
Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Driver’s License.
Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or acceptable equivalent training.
Possess a strong work ethic and can work independently and in a team environment.
Performance driven. Always strive to do your best.
Preferred Experience
Some commercial HVAC experience preferred, but not required.

Able to work a flexible work schedule with varying days and hours, including call-ins; able to work outdoors in all seasons and work at heights.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stand, walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; climb ladders; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Employee occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to moderately loud.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include correctable vision to complete work in a safe manner.
Benefits & Compensation
The starting wage for this position is $28–$36 per hour, with potential adjustments based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
