Position Summary
Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Medication Technician is responsible for preparing and administering proper medications. The CMT performs direct resident care such as ADLs, ambulation, transfers, feeding, and activities; manages all assigned supplies and equipment on the unit; promotes teamwork with all members of the healthcare team; and performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Current licensure as a Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A) in the state of Missouri, Certified Medication Technician (C.M.T) in the state of Missouri
