Schedule: Monday - Friday, On-Call Required.
Responsibilities
Manage maintenance staff by setting direction, priorities, and daily schedules.
Maintain, build, schedule, and complete a preventative maintenance program minimizing emergency repairs, with a minimum weekly overview.
Detect deficiencies within buildings and grounds and take or delegate necessary action.
Ensure apartment units are ready for new move‑ins by conducting inspections and quality control.
Ensure maintenance work orders are completed timely, to the highest standards of efficiency and safety procedures.
Respond to after‑hours emergencies as on‑call.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
3+ years of experience in property management maintenance required.
1+ years of supervisory experience required.
Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, appliance, heating, air‑conditioning, and other repair areas required.
EPA Certification Type II or universal required.
Within 1 year of hire, certificate/license with CAMT required.
Within 6 months of hire, certificate/licenses with OSHA and CPO required.
Written, verbal, and oral communication skills, including checking email and phone/voicemail daily.
Budget knowledge.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of property management systems such as Yardi, SightPlan, etc.
Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
Valid driver’s license and up‑to‑date vehicle insurance required.
If minimum qualifications are met during resume screening, a Wonderlic pre‑employment assessment is required.
