We’re looking for a driven
Safety Manager
to lead safety initiatives across heavy civil construction projects. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys building strong teams, and is passionate about creating a culture where safety comes first.
Salary based on DOE
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and manage
company-wide safety programs and compliance efforts
Conduct
site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
across active projects
Deliver engaging
safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks
Partner with project teams to ensure
safe and efficient execution
Investigate incidents and implement
corrective and preventative actions
Oversee
subcontractor safety compliance
and job-specific safety plans
What We’re Looking For
OSHA 500 Certification (required)
Experience in
heavy civil construction (roadway/highway required; airport a plus)
Fluent in
English and Spanish
(verbal and written)
Strong leadership, communication, and
team training experience
Solid understanding of
OSHA regulations and construction safety standards

Travel Requirements
The Safety Manager may need to travel regularly between different project sites. This may involve commuting or staying overnight at project locations for inspections or meetings.
Educational and experience requirements
Must have OSHA 500 Certification, Certified OSHA training: Competent person for excavation and Competent Person for Confined Spaces. Experience working in heavy civil construction, including roadway and highway is a must, and airport work is a plus. Experience working with DOT, Federal entities, and government is a plus. Experience in traffic control planning.
Software - Office 365 Suite. Cloud-based applications such as OneDrive, DropBox, SiteDocs.
Construction — experience in the construction industry, and heavy civil work.
Computer and Technological– Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Products.
