Our client is growing and looking for a Diesel Technician
to service and maintain a mixed fleet of heavy construction equipment used across active job sites and yard operations. This role supports uptime for critical machinery such as excavators, dozers, scrapers, cranes, haul trucks, and support vehicles.

Excavators:
Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi
Dozers:
John Deere, CAT, Case
Wheel Loaders & Skid Steers:
Bobcat, CAT, Deere
Articulated & Off-Road Trucks:
Volvo, CAT, Terex
Cranes & Boom Trucks:
Grove, Manitowoc, Tadano
Graders, Rollers & Compactors:
Hamm, Sakai, Deere
Support Fleet:
Service trucks, diesel pickups, trailers, generators, compressors
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
Perform field service calls and shop-based repairs on heavy machinery
Conduct preventative maintenance, fluid checks, and component replacements
Use diagnostic tools/software (CAT ET, Cummins Insite, John Deere Service Advisor, etc.)
Maintain service logs and communicate equipment status with supervisors
Troubleshoot issues involving hydraulics, DEF systems, emissions, and drivetrains
Follow safety procedures and environmental regulations on and off the jobsite
Required Experience & Qualifications
3+ years of diesel technician or heavy equipment mechanic experience
Strong hydraulic, electrical, and engine diagnostics knowledge
Ability to service multiple brands and machine types
Experience in construction, civil, or heavy industrial environments preferred
CDL or ability to obtain is a plus
Basic welding or fabrication experience is a bonus
