1st Shift - Monday - Friday (8AM - 5:00PM)
Essential Functions
Researches, plans, designs, verifies, validates and develops mechanical and/or electromechanical products and systems, such as metals, instruments, controls, plastics, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, resonance, hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.
Recommends various technology options or approaches for system, processes, facility or program improvements in terms of safety, performance, efficiency or costs.
May be responsible for the transfer from R&D to manufacturing.
Experience Preferred
Should have 4-5 Years or Mechanical Designing Experience & Mechanical Systems
Should have 5 Years of experience in Solidworks 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
Should have 2 Years of experience in Aircraft/Missile/Satellite System & Electronic Packaging
Required Skills
Experience in mechanical design, assembly and environmental testing of high reliability electronic, electro-optic, mechanisms, or opto-mechanical systems for DoD or aerospace applications.
Experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD software.
Skills Preferred
Demonstrated experience with the development of opto-mechanical or electro-mechanical systems utilized on spacecraft and/or aircraft strongly preferred.
Experience in DoD, military, and/or aerospace applications highly preferred
Opto-Mechanical experience would be highly preferred
Education Preferred
The Ideal candidate should currently holds a Top Secret/SCI clearance
Should have a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering OR Aerospace.
A Master’s degree is a plus (there is some flexibility on the years of experience if you have a Master’s) i.e. Master’s and 3+ years relevant experience or Bachelor’s and 7+ years relevant experience.
