Job Details
Position: Senior Corporate Paralegal

Salary: $80,000 - $115,000 per year

Location: Dallas, in-office

Employment type: Non-exempt, overtime eligible

Host: Arpana Davis

Responsibilities

Prepare and file UCC filings and perform lien searches.

Assist in the due diligence process for mergers and acquisitions, including the review of corporate records, contracts, real estate documents, and other legal documents.

Assist in the preparation and review of documents for corporate and real estate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.

Maintain corporate records and assist with corporate governance matters, including the preparation of board resolutions, minutes, and other corporate documents.

Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of corporate and regulatory issues.

Work closely with the company's attorneys and other legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal support.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.

Qualifications

Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved institution is required. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

A minimum of 7+ years of experience as a corporate paralegal, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.

Extensive knowledge of UCC filings, lien searches, and mergers and acquisitions.

Strong understanding of corporate law and corporate governance principles and procedures.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently, manage workloads, and keep deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to work in-office M-F, 8:30-5:30 pm.
