Quality Technician - Second Shift

We need a driven QUALITY TECHNICIAN – SECOND SHIFT to support high‑performance, customer‑centric inbound‑to‑manufacturing logistics.

Position Responsibilities

Maintain quality‑assurance processes, test products, and record and analyze results data during product development and manufacturing.

Ensure adherence to product quality standards.

Create Work Instructions to validate operations.

Perform layered audits and complete audits in reference to CLI quality standards.

Partner with the business to drive corrective action and five‑phase reporting.

Perform containment processes in the event of quality defects.

Perform visual inspections, including using a camera to document load shifts.

Remove products that don’t meet production standards and recommend strategies to improve product quality.

Have knowledge of commodity locations, material flow and window times.

Position Requirements

Strong computer skills and ability to analyze data.

Skilled with Excel, including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables.

Knowledge of AIAG core tools, fishbone, APQP, root cause analysis, etc.

Experience with process kitting and sub‑assembly.

Minimum of a High School Diploma.

Automotive, manufacturing and/or third‑party logistics experience preferred or other warehousing/distribution experience.

Previous experience in a quality technician or related role.

Ability to interpret technical specifications and documentation.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non‑conformities.

Minimum of 1‑2 years’ experience in quality, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Ability to apply good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity on the job.

Location and Hours
Location: Denton, Texas

Hours: 4:00 pm to 12:30 am plus approved overtime.
