Your Team's Impact
FactSet’s Research Management System (RMS) facilitates our clients’ investment research process by allowing them to store and share notes, documents, and other critical information related to their internal research and due diligence. The RMS suite includes workflow‑driven solutions tailored to each client, boosting cross‑firm collaboration, compliance, and research continuity. Our RMS, combined with core workstation tools and specialty solutions such as Portfolio & Performance Analytics, makes FactSet uniquely positioned to offer an end‑to‑end research and investment workflow solution.

The Internal Research Notes (IRN) product is the core of our research management offering to Asset Manager, Asset Owner, and Wealth clients. The Americas Asset Owner team implements IRN at new clients and supports the existing client base. The primary objective during implementations is to gather requirements, plan projects, and build workflows, while overseeing client relationships across a wide user base and providing expertise on advanced IRN projects.

What You'll Do
Pre‑Sales & Implementation

Collaborate with Sales during the sales cycle to ensure prospects understand the breadth of functionality available from deployment of our RMS solutions

Assist with definition and setup of trials for prospects

Define, design, and implement solutions and IRN best practices for clients across Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Wealth Management, Asset Owner firms, with a focus on Asset Owner firms

Implement IRN for new clients ranging from small implementations to large‑scale deployments

Implement IRN for new teams or introduce new advanced workflows at existing clients

Gather detailed requirements from clients, document them in Statements of Work, and develop implementation project plans

Advise on and create optimal proprietary processes tailored to individual clients and firm types that use IRN

Follow best practices for IRN implementations, including Statements of Work, Implementation RPDs, client updates, and communication

Strategic Consulting & Client Retention

Derive a strategic plan for your book of clients to optimize the value they receive from IRN

Proactively engage FactSet generalists’ teams in advanced project work

Collaborate with generalists and RMS Sales to act on at‑risk or low‑usage clients by sharing IRN enhancements and new functionality

Serve as a subject matter expert for IRN functionality and advanced projects

Identify opportunities to expand RMS and FactSet’s footprint across your book of clients

Understand the RMS product strategy, enhancements, and roadmap

Collaborate with IRN PD/Engineering to ensure client feedback feeds into product enhancements

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree required

2+ years of industry‑related experience

Proactive and independent work ethic

Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills

Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills

Demonstrated critical thinking abilities

Client‑obsession mentality – dedication to guiding clients toward optimal solutions

Knowledge of RMS workflows and IRN, or strong interest in working with IRN

Prior experience supporting RMS clients and/or FactSet workstation is preferred

Understanding of Asset Owner, Asset Manager, and Wealth workflows is preferred, with focus on Asset Owners

Salary range (state of New York): $90,000 - $105,000.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship at any time.
